Our Foundation in Faith
At the heart of Our Jesus Friends is a shared commitment to the core truths of the Christian faith. This foundation shapes our conversations, guides our prayers, and unites us as sisters on the journey.
The Word of God
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible word of God. As written in 2 Timothy 3:16, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." It is our ultimate source of truth, guidance, and spiritual nourishment.
The Gift of Jesus
We believe Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and willingly died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. He rose again, offering the free gift of eternal life to all who put their faith in Him alone (Ephesians 2:8). He is our Savior and our friend.
The Guidance of Spirit
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. At salvation, we receive the Holy Spirit as our Helper, who guides, teaches, and reminds us of Christ's words, empowering us to live faithfully (John 14:26).
